An event was held to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease presenting the recent discoveries that lead to the development of Alzheimer’s disease including gum infections, neglecting daily morning and evening oral hygiene and tooth loss, which negatively affects the balance system in the jaw and has negative consequences in the long term.
We also addressed the indiscriminate extraction of teeth in some dental clinics and the loss of teeth that are still healthy and could have been treated and retained. All these issues take the person to a path full of crises and numerous visits to the dental clinics and endless suffering.
